Job description

This role is responsible for addressing client, patient and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions. Intake representative will gather information from either the injured worker, employer or attorney and then input information into system for the scheduling assistant to make appointments for necessary treatment.

The shift for this role will be Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm EST

This is a remote position but for continuity of business with our management team, candidate needs to reside and work in the Central or Eastern time zones.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality telephonic and email customer service including inbound and outbound messages.
  • Receive and respond to daily emails and correspondence.
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & PREREQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook and Excel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong and consistent work history

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

Pay Range: $15.59 - $25.07 per hour
