Candidate Qualifications;

This position is reserved for candidates who posess proficiency in the residential construction industry. Candidates must be able to intelligently diagnose, develop, articulate and independently construct projects, on a daily basis, with minimal oversight. THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME W2 EMPLOYMENT. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, PART TIMERS ETC., NEED NOT APPLY

Carpenter/Installer

• Minimum 2 years experience in residential construction field (equivalent education accepted in lieu of experience).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Coachable, trainable and independently capable of learning on the job.
• Multi-skilled position requiring- Professional Carpentry experience in multiple aspects including; Framing, Exterior/Interior Trim, Siding (Vinyl, Fiber Cement, Engineered Wood, PVC Polymer), Decking (Wood and Composite), Window/Door installations, Aspects of Remodeling, and familiarity in methods and materials unique to coastal residential construction.
• Must be positive, forward thinking, trainable, a team player and able to take instruction.
• Must be able to safely and efficiently meet physical demands of 10hr work days while performing a multitude of typical construction tasks.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and safely traverse a job site

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Complete tasks in all areas of Installation and Construction as assigned by management and within the standard metrics required.
• Implement standard construction best practices in accordance with building code and company directives. Lead Carpenters are required to productively, correctly and safely direct others to complete tasks.
• Must be able to organize completion of individually assigned tasks safely, productively and efficiently.
• Respect work schedule requirements and plan accordingly.
• Perform construction and carpentry work on a daily basis.
• Plan, interpet, understand and provide, consistent, quality work.

Benefits/Compensation;

• Base pay will commensurate experience, knowledge, skill and ability. Pay range $15 - $27+ hr.
• Work schedule: 4, 10 hour shifts (M-Th) Full time with occasional overtime and travel.
