Job Description:

Performing duties: demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, rough and finish carpentry, carpet installation, and associated repair and renovation and construction/remodeling functions in all County Facilities including Corrections.

Initiate material lists, solicit cost estimates, and oversee the delivery of parts and materials to job sites.

Coordinate project schedules with building occupants and contractors.

Maintain records, paperwork, and warranty information.

Inspect the work of contractors to ensure compliance with County specifications and established Building, Safety, and Environmental regulations and codes.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
-
Three (3) years of related experience.

Valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
CJIS Clearance- **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

Starting Pay Range: $18.94 (Step 1) - $21.33 (Step 5)
Position Salary Range: $18.94 (Step 1) - $27.82 (Step 14)
