Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Cash Posting Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and management of daily operations of the Cash posting functions. You will be responsible for guiding the staff in their day-to-day responsibilities, which includes mentoring and training them as needed.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage activities related to SSC Cash Management
  • Assist the Cashiering Director in establishing and monitoring productivity standards, quality improvement and direct staff in meeting department goals
  • Ensure daily cash received is posted daily
  • Monitor and assist with resolving unapplied cash general ledgers
  • Measure remits electronically posted
  • Maximize electronic payment posting capabilities for all Payers
  • Prepare cash trending and provide statistics and reports for the Cashiering Director
  • Coordinate Master file maintenance with SSC Master file designee for eCash as needed
  • Work as a liaison between the Cash Posting staff and other SSC staff
  • Resolve issues escalated by Cash Posting staff
  • Monitor eRequest and escalate as needed to appropriate department for resolution
  • Review each staff member’s productivity on a monthly basis
  • Perform Q/A for Cash Posting functions

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements
  • Minimum three years’ experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
