99 Ranch Market – Edmonds Store is now hiring Cashiers and Barista!

99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States, with over 61 store locations in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and more! Responsibilities:

• Cashier- Follow all cash handling procedures and complete the check-out process accurately and efficiently
• Barista - Prepare and serve coffee, bubble tea and other freshly made drinks that meet quality standards
• Customer Service – Greet customers and provide excellent services to address their needs in a timely fashion. Answers customer questions and introduces product samples to attract customers
• Display – Ensure products have proper signage and are well-merchandised following company standards; showcase quality and freshness to drive sales in the department
• Stock- Unload and break down deliveries, and arrange stockroom properly; stock shelves with products; refill products to meet customer needs and rotate products using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method
• Replenish- Be aware of the expiration dates of products, so that older products can be taken off the shelves, and newer products can be ordered and stocked on time.
• Bakery Sales– Wrap and pack the items at the customer’s request accurately and efficiently
• Workplace maintenance – Maintain safe working environments and comply with the internal procedure or safety code to meet government regulation
• Cleaning – Coordinate cleanliness and maintenance needs with the Maintenance Department
• Loss Prevention – Responsible for controlling, safeguarding, and monitoring all department assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for control of assets
• Dumping- Handle expired and recalled products properly under the supervisor’s instructions. Be responsible for the efficient utilization of materials to minimize dumping
• Demo- Follow supervisor’s instructions and do a demo to promote department sales
• Perform other duties as for business needs

Job Description:

• Proactively greet customers, and answer their questions in a professional manner
• Identify product items properly
• Scan customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Follow all cash handling procedures and complete the process accurately and efficiently
• Bag items properly
• Answers customer inquiries by phone or in person with appropriate etiquettes
• Conducts customer returns and exchanges in compliance with the company policies
• Properly handles customer suggestions and complaints for customer retention
• Review, create and apply new batches. Update prices in the system. Make various sizes of price tags, and ensure price tags and signage are correctly labeled
• Process online orders according to company procedures
• Maintains clean, organized work areas, and comply with internal procedures
• Perform other duties as for business needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a bakery, cafe or customer service area is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Working knowledge of the baking process
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet department needs

• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
• Physical Demands
• Standing for extended periods is commonly required
• Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling
• Ability to lift 30 lbs or more with the appropriate equipment

Salary:$15.74 - $16.50/hr

工作職責：
