Job description
This is important public contact work accurately collecting cash and electronic credit and debit payments for goods and services provided in the City's TASCO Teen Programs. Work involves the correct recording of transactions, proper handling of cash, security maintenance of electronic transactions; and providing general assistance and answering patrons' questions regarding the City’s recreation programs. Work also involves the rapid and accurate completion of transactions; reconciling daily cash activities; preparing related reports; providing other administrative support to recreation programs and other duties as assigned. Work requires high quality customer service with extreme accuracy and the ability to work successfully with minimal supervision. The work schedule varies and may include assignments on nights, weekends and holidays.
Salary: $15.45 - $20.56 Hourly

To QualifyMinimum Qualifications. Applicants must:
- Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Have at least six (6) months experience as a cashier, bookkeeper, teller, or similar position.
- Have prior experience with money handling, cash registers, and computers.
- Be flexible to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Have some customer service experience.
Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants should:
- Have experience using Microsoft Office.
- Have experience using ActiveNet.
