Job description
Primarily responsible for achieving top line revenue goals within the group and event market segments. More specifically, solicit new accounts, uncover new business with current accounts, develop proposals based on client’s needs and respond to RFPs, detail, service and manage on site group and catered events, while serving as the liaison between sales and food and beverage and operational departments.
A. Responsible for activities related to the group sales cycle and revenue generation from accounts related to insurance, legal, consumer products, finance, automotive, retail, production, entertainment, consulting, wellness, etc.
B. Analyze data, qualify and perform targeted prospecting for new business.
C. Maintain Sales Tracking System updated with detailed notes in activities through Sales Force and Opera PMS.
D. Understand and stay ahead of local group and event markets and competitive set.
E. Build long-term, value-based account relationships enabling the achievement of revenue targets.
F. Entertain clients in accordance with established hotel policies and guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
