Quickway Carriers Inc. is hiring CDL A Local Reefer Delivery Drivers in Shelbyville, IN. Drivers will haul and deliver refrigerated and frozen goods to grocery stores primarily in Indiana & Illinois. The routes are direct store delivery where drivers will be unloading at customer locations using an electric pallet jack and securing loads and equipment.

Quickway is looking for qualified and safe Company Drivers that love to work hard, get paid, and get home daily. We have the benefits, technology, and customers, but we are small enough to get to know each driver personally. We care about our drivers and spend time with each driver to ensure their success.

Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $1,500.00 to $1,800.00 with 1200 to 1800 miles weekly
  • Base 57-92 CPM depending on miles in the load
  • Paid loaded & empty miles
• Additional pay:
  • Stop pay: $18.76
  • Drop/hook pay: $18.76
  • Detention pay: $22.16 per hour after the first hour
  • Shuttle pay: $45.27
  • Performance pay: .03 per mile + $1.00 per stop, paid monthly
• $2,500 Referral bonus program
• Paid via direct deposit weekly on Friday

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
  • Must be open to an occasional route that may require a stay in a hotel (with a per diem given) before returning
• Schedule: 5 days with 2 consecutive days off
  • Terminal runs 7 days a week
• Shift: Varies
• Route: Primarily IN & IL with some routes to MI & OH
• Level of Touch: Touch freight including but not limited to:
  • Unloading at customer locations using electric pallet jack
  • Responsible for securing loads and equipment
  • No stocking shelves or pallet break down!

• Governed speed: 68 MPH on cruise
