Position Summary:

Reports to Program Manager in Central Nursing Administration. Responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department or interdepartmental projects, activities, reports, schedules and management of data. Develops office procedures to ensure efficient and timely operations. Collaborates and cross-trains with other Central Nursing Coordinators (CNC) across Central Nursing Administration and Programs in order to ensure seamless and smooth operations. Responsible for direct, advanced-level support of a specific program or programs within Central Nursing Administration.

Education:

Associate’s Degree, or three years equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Required Work Experience:

Without Associate’s Degree, at least three years equivalent experience required. Also requires at least 6 months of direct exposure to advanced-level program project support and to problem solve and/or triage issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of office and administrative procedures and ability to organize and prioritize tasks normally acquired through five to seven years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in the use of software and its application.
  • Strong project, office management, and communications skills, analytical ability to manipulate data; maintain office manuals, reference materials and database structures.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills necessary to interact diplomatically with diverse groups of people, exchange information and produce written correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations.
