Overview:
Atlantic Medical Group has a Full time opportunity for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who is able to travel to multiple locations.

Ability to Travel:

Western locations: Hackettstown, Sparta
Southern locations: Bridgewater
Northern/Central locations: Morristown, Parsippany, Rockaway, Wayne (Chilton area)
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  • The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. managing patient flow, vital signs, patient intake
  • Certified Medical Assistant will also be rooming of patients, assisting physician as needed, cleaning and re-stocking rooms
  • CMA, Certified Medical ASsistant will be ordering supplies and maintaining exam rooms, as well as registering and scheduling patients in practice management system
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School Diploma required for CMA
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NRCMA or NHA required
  • Two years medical office experience preferred
  • EMR experience desired
  • Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
  • Ability travel to different practices in the Chilton and Morristown Medical Center areas
  • Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to accommodate practice hours
  • Position may require working one evening shift per week and/or one weekend shift per month
