Job description

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team! Candidates with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks will be considered for this position. Our staff works very well together and we are looking for someone who is willing to contribute to the team and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with providers, MAs, and administrative staff to provide the best care for our patients
• Perform basic medical procedures under the direction of a provider
• Maintain order in the office and assist patients.
• Organize and distribute documents as appropriate.
• Fax various forms
• Room patients
• Document vital signs, review current medications, and enter accurately in the patient's electronic chart
• Prepares exam room with needed equipment for the various exams including cleaning of exam room and equipment on daily/weekly basis
• Administers medications and injections as directed by a provider
• Administer and document vaccinations
• Administer and document various screening procedures
• Appropriately handle, clean and prepare instruments for sterilization

Qualifications and Skills:

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccine series required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
