POSITION: Certified Medical Assistant

DIVISION: Community Health Center

WAGES: Grade 10 Hourly Wages ($17.75-27.69)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Applicant will be working assisting medical physicians and nurses in patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms, and drawing blood along with performing in-house procedures. Candidate will be expected to work in Family, OB, and BH areas of the clinic along with traveling to satellite offices. Schedule, Monday through Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm, with two days in Monee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate.

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship.

DESIRED: CPR Certification and Electronic Medical Records, Next Gen Computer experience. Bilingual in Spanish.
