We're looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and assisting with patient care, including basic laboratory tests, immunizations and medication registration. He or she will also be responsible for tracking patient data and insurance claims, interacting with patients in a professional and respectful manner and properly documenting patient information. The ideal candidate is friendly, a good communicator, detailed oriented and can work well with individuals of all backgrounds and cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for medical examinations.
• Assist with medical screenings, examinations, and tests.
• Alter treatments depending on patient's needs and responses to treatment.
• Provide patient and family education about medical conditions and treatments.
• Manage patient care in the absence of or as directed by the physician.
• Keep accurate records of patient's progress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
