CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR MEDICAL ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school or GED required
Licensure/Certification: Certification as CMA or RMA preferred but not required
Experience: two years of clinical experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain and document patient history, findings, and data on electronic health records
Assist providers to perform treatments and procedures
Provide medical treatment regime as ordered by the provider
Set up, clean, and disinfect examinations rooms
Sterilize instruments
Maintain inventory of supplies in examination rooms; replenish as required
Establish a good rapport with patients, providers, and supporting staff
Work as a team member and assist colleagues when needed
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have demonstrated computer literacy
Willing to travel to satellite locations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Position involves active work, including walking and/or standing for considerable lengths of time. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time with minimum of 20 hours/week
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
