In your role as a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for the medication administration and treatment program to the residents. Assist the entire caregiving department to ensure that the residents are safe, well cared for and comfortable. Complies with federal, state and local standards for facility operation.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Administering medication and completion of daily shift reports.
• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Document daily log of assistance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
• Current Med Aide certification
• CPR/First Aide certification
