We are looking for full-time Certified Medication Aides (C.M.A.’s) to be a part of our incredible team and who have the same vision.

Our C.M.A.’s provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Education/Certification:

• Must have completed and passed a state-approved Medication Aide course.
• Must have a current Medication Aide permit from the Texas Department of Health.
• Must have current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the State of Texas.
• Must be in good standing on the Nursing Aide Registry in the State of Texas and the Nurse Aide Misconduct Registry.

Specific Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and cheerfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must be able to communicate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Observe for and immediately report to Charge Nurse any noted reactions, side effects or errors of medication administration.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work Schedule: As assigned; including some weekends, evenings and holidays. Non-Exempt position.
