FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 36-40/week & 12-20/week
Shift: Night Shift & Afternoon shifts available w/ alternating weekends

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR FCMC:

**Our CNAs provide essential care for each of our residents under the supervision of a nurse. This compassionate care can include:
- Morning and evening hygiene routines
- Ensuring that residents are fed and hydrated
- Following personalized care plans for each resident
- Repositioning residents
- Keeping the resident and resident’s space clean to ensure comfort and prevent infection
These and other duties performed by CNAs are vital to the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Idaho
- Must be CPR-certified
- Must have a working knowledge of basic healthcare equipment including wheelchairs, electrical beds, lift equipment, carts, scales, and vital sign analysis equipment
- Must be able to competently and positively work with residents, other employees, and the public
Essential Job Functions:
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or twist
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
- Occasionally required to operate foot controls and lifts
- Frequently able to move or push up to 35 pounds, and occasionally able to lift, carry, move, or push up to 100 pounds
- Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision
- Submitting to COVID-19 testing as required by CMS other regulatory agencies and per FCMC policy and procedure
- Have full COVID-19 vaccination (some exemptions allowed)
Work Environment:
- FCMC operates 24 hours per day each day of the year; operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the patients
- Potential exposure to blood, body tissue and fluids, contagious diseases and hazardous waste
- Occasional exposure to bodily injury, loud/unpleasant noise, unpleasant odor, emotional or physical stress
