VCA Metzger Animal Hospitalin State College, PA is adding a Certified Veterinary Technicianto our team!

Snapshot of the Role:

You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

· Venipuncture

· Catheter placement

· Radiology

· Anesthesia monitoring

· Physical examinations and patient assessment

· Surgical preparation and assisting

· Dentistry

· Laboratory work

· Pharmacy

· Patient recovery

· Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

Compensation: Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

Schedule: Full-time opportunities available. Not looking for 40 hours? No problem! We are seeking technicians for both day and overnight shifts.

Who We Are:

We are AAHA-accredited and a Level II Certified Emergency Veterinary Facility providing around-the-clock care to State College, Bellefonte, Altoona, Clearfield, and all of Central Pennsylvania. We offer a variety of veterinary services to pets, both big and small, including wellness care, surgical services, rehabilitation and physical therapy, orthopedic surgery, and much more! We have 24-hour care with an emergency doctor and technicians on site at ALL times. VCA Metzger Animal Hospital is a Level II VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) Certified Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
