PingWind is seeking a qualified Change Management and Training Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) program. This program is focused on assisting various VBA Lines of Business and Staff Offices by building and delivering tailored solutions using best-in-class SaaS/PaaS offerings at the VA.
Responsibilities
The Change Management and Training Lead will collaborate with various VBA customers to facilitate the successful deployment and adoption of new products.
- Collaborate with customers to build and deliver a Change Management Plan describing the approach in engaging the Customer and End Users about an upcoming product deployment
- Develop Change Management Measures and Metrics that assess the success of a product relative to the legacy system/process such that customer buy-in and confidence is increased, e.g. anticipated number of users internal/external impacted by new solution, reduced processing times, increased quality percentage projections, and/or decreased employee administrative time
- Develop a Communications Plan that describes the Communications approach and strategy around the deployment of a new product, e.g. Outlines the first artifact as an email that is to be disseminated on January 1 to a user group and the second artifact is a separate email a week later
- Develop end user and train-the-trainer training materials
- Create, implement, and manage a knowledge base repository
- Lead the creation of training materials, e.g. User Guides, Documents (Word/PDF), Presentations, Wiki Pages, Audio Clips, Videos and Web Based Training
- Ensure all end user functionality is accounted for in training materials.
- Perform virtual training for end users or train-the-trainer sessions.
- End user trainings may encompass up to 10,000 unique users in each of VBA's 56 regional offices; Typically, 1-5 trainers at each office may participate in train-the-trainer events.
- Bachelor’s degree; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Expert communication and client management skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations.
- Strong desire and ability to collaborate.
- Experience working in and with cross-functional teams, preferably developing software.
- Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal Change Management trainings and/or certifications
- VA or similar government organization experience
