MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a Change Management Playbook that describes the CMO roles and responsibilities, outlining the change management approach for logistics transformation. The playbook would introduce a standard process for starting change management activities, provide instructional information detailing the various stages and processes to complete them.
- Manage the logistics transformation by executing the plan in the CM Playbook, tracking the performance of the change and adapting the approach as necessary to achieve success.
- Prepare the logistics enterprise for the changes to policy and process required to minimize customization needed for NavLog-IT transition.
- Support documenting the current business processes used by the CG-4 Logistics and Service Centers (LC/SC) and manage them in a CG-4 Mission System Business Model (MSBM) Repository.
- Track progress on the transition decisions and support the Configuration Control Board (CCB) agenda and priorities.
- Support the evaluation and transformation of the current and future CG-4 organization and managed assets to the CG-4 MSBM CCB directed business processes and automation tools.
- Support the transition to sustainment by reviewing organizational performance and transferring ownership to appropriate elements of the organization.
- Six (6) years’ experience in project management, logistics, logistics transformation, enterprise architecture, organizational development, business analysis, or a related field,
- Proficient in the application of Change Management methods such as Prosci (C), Kotter (C) and McKinsey 7-S Model (C) in a large agency, organization or corporation.
- Experience in managing the effect of new business processes, new technology, shifting economic landscapes, or changes in organizational structure and culture within an enterprise.
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:- Project Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Computer Science
- Planning
- Business
- Accounting
- Engineering
- Logistics
- Information Systems Management
- or a related area
- Experience working within the USCG Mission Support Organization (CG-4, LC/SC, CG-9, CG-6),
- Familiarity with USCG or US Navy Logistics Support Systems, including
- ACMS
- ALMIS
- AMMIS
- SAM
- NESSS
- VLS
- Naval Logistics IT
