FoodCloud is an Irish social enterprise that creates solutions to redistribute surplus food, tackling the twin issues of food waste and food insecurity. With a vision for a world where no good food goes to waste and an ambition to create a solution at each step of the supply chain, FoodCloud redistributes surplus food from the food industry to the charity sector via our retail technology platform and our warehouses in Dublin, Galway and Cork.
We are launching a new exciting project, The FoodCloud Kitchen, a branded food truck that allows FoodCloud to bring the important message of tackling food waste on the road.
The FoodCloud Kitchen will transform surplus food that we cannot get to the community sector, into a spectacular surplus food offering and deliver to citizens, corporate, and community partners in the greater Dublin area and beyond. It will offer a platform to showcase innovation with surplus food to key stakeholders in the context of our ambitious goal to create a more equitable, inclusive and circular food system.
Are you a Chef De Partie, who would like to work alongside a chef manager (Colm Burke, formerly Cafe Rua, Castlebar) with over 20 years experience, for one of Ireland's fastest growing social enterprises, passionate about tackling food waste and increasing social inclusion in communities across Ireland and internationally?

About the Job
- All regular Chef de Partie duties plus, stock control, base soups and sauces, prep work, support to chef manager, HACCP knowledge.
- This role will be full time and flexible working will be required.
- 8 hr shifts
- 5 days over 7
- Working alongside the chef manager in the kitchen and in the food truck at events.
- Supporting the chef manager in representing FoodCloud’s brand at events
- Additional duties as required, per business needs
Key Skills
- Qualification in culinary arts, or similar is desired, but not essential
- HACCP qualification
- A minimum of 3-4 years cooking experience
- Hold references from previous relevant employments
- A commitment to the values of FoodCloud and an interest in environmental/food/climate change issues.
- Ability to be adaptable and to work in a dynamic and creative environment
