We are seeking a highly experienced Chemical Technician with a minimum of 3 years in the production chemical arena, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of corrosion, scale, bacteria, and H2S remediation and treatment applications. They will also have a strong understanding of gas lift, submersible pump, and rod lift systems, as well as the ability to assist in failure analysis cause.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Production Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Lease Operators on a day-to-day basis to set up chemical applications for downhole and surface treating.
  • Work closely with chemical company account managers and technicians to establish monitoring techniques and decipher and explain monitoring results with Endeavor personnel.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, as well as Open Wells, M-Files, Power BI, and Prodview.
  • Schedule chemical application deliveries and installation with the projects group before wells are put on flowback and production.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the production chemical arena.
  • Strong knowledge of corrosion, scale, bacteria, and H2S remediation and treatment applications.
  • Experience with making or being a part of chemical recommendations or mechanical modifications for preventing failures.
  • Familiarity with the cause and effect of mineral scale, corrosion, and bacteria commonly found in oilfield waters.
  • Ability to work closely with vendors and Endeavor field and engineering staff.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, as well as Open Wells, M-Files, Power BI, and Prodview.
