Founded in 2015, the Food Allergy Institute (FAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center revolutionizing food allergy treatment among the pediatric population. Our Tolerance Induction Program™ is the first of its kind, bringing patients to the point where they can eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without having to worry about any kind of reaction. The success of FAI is built on years of development involving proprietary biomarkers, data analytics and modeling systems which allow unique patient specific therapy to be deployed in the clinic setting and at home safely.

We are currently seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and Founder to support our organization. This individual will be a strategic thinker who is knowledgeable of the healthcare field from various perspectives.

Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads.
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Review, design, and execute on improvements to organization structure and identify and address knowledge and skills gaps.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities.
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with CEO and executives on special projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
  • Develop and manage metrics for various aspects of organizations overseen by the CEO.
  • Build and develop relationships with investors and prospective donors.
  • Manage operational and executive meetings for organizations led by the CEO.
  • Gather and review information to create presentations.
  • Oversee billing, recruitment, and staff for a hospital division.
  • Process trademark applications and license development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business and Administration (“MBA”)
  • Proficient at public speaking.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Experience with data analytics.
  • Experience in healthcare.
