Child & Adolescent Psychologist Private Practice Openings – Naperville, IL

Part-time

Child & Adolescent Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Child & Adolescent Post Doctoral Fellow

Susan Myket, Ph.D. & Associates, a clinical psychology practice in Chicago’s western suburbs, has immediate openings for part-time, licensed/license-eligible Clinical Psychologist to provide therapy and assessment to children, adolescents, and families. We are also accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship position.

As a family psychology practice, we see clients who have a variety of presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, OCD, oppositional defiance, adjustment to stressors, disordered eating and learning disabilities. Our 22 clinicians work together to support specialty clinics: Anxiety, Assessment, Autism Spectrum, Early Childhood, and Pediatric Psychology. The practice is well-respected in the community and clinicians quickly have a full caseload - our most recent hires had a full client caseload within three weeks. Clinicians have dedicated therapy offices and manage their own schedules. Clients are most available after school so Clinical Psychologists must be available to work weekday afternoons and evenings. In addition, one weekend day is strongly preferred.

Minimum qualifications: Doctorate in psychology, Cognitive Behavioral focus, Child and Adolescent focus, plenty of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents, competence in empirically-supported treatments. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and child assessment experience are highly valued. We expect our psychologists to be able to treat an 8-year old with behavior issues, a 12-year old with anxiety, and a 15-year old with depression. Our psychologists also have specialty areas or ages in which they excel - we are able to tailor a majority of a doctor's client load to meet these preferences and areas of expertise.
