Child and Family Behavioral Technician

Pay Range: $20-23 per hour

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work in our Children's Program (ChIP), providing clinic-based support services to children through Riverbend's Autism program.

As a Behavioral Technician, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with children with autism in a clinic setting under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll be helping the child acquire new skills through skill acquisition programs and behavior support plans developed by the BCBA. You will be part of a talented clinical team focused on caring for a small caseload of children with autism.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinic-based services to children with autism
• Follow the behavior plan and skill acquisition programming set in place by the BCBA
• Implement behavioral interventions for skill acquisition and growth in identified behavioral areas utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Integrate knowledge and capability to help a child learn social, play, language, attention, and self-help skills.
• Utilize established measurement, assessment, and skill acquisition procedures
• Collect, manage, and record data

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience working with children with behavioral challenges, experience with children on the autism spectrum, and knowledge of ABA preferred.
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance are required.
