This position provides both routine and non-routine administrative support to the children’s mental health and chemical dependency units. Duties require understanding of policies and procedures and the use of independent decision making. Responsibilities may include: providing on-going case maintenance to case managers; creating documents and correspondence; data entry, review, and correction; data collection interviews with chemical dependency clients; complete necessary documentation to determine eligibility for clients accessing the Behavioral Health Fund for chemical dependency treatment; computes appropriate number of units and costs for treatment arrangement (CPA entry); DAANES entry; coordinate treatment funding with accounting department and Chemical Dependency worker; completes and organizes children’s mental health and chemical dependency case files by assisting staff with CaseWorks electronic filing or paper documentation when appropriate; maintain accountability for all time by recording activities in Social Services Information System (SSIS), attend and participate in staff and unit meetings, attend training and meet monthly with supervisor for consultation and supervision.

Minimum qualifications & Requirements

Associate’s degree and two (2) years experience in an administrative support function or community support; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
