Wellbrook Family Chiropractic is a small business in Castro Valley, CA. We are professional, agile and our primary goal is to be good listeners, ask appropriate questions to help determine what a person's current problem is, and in addition to this, what their overall health goals are. Too often doctors think they have all of the answers, and even disregard patient feedback. Too often these doctors are wrong. After years of practice, I have learned that more often than not, the answer lies inside of the patient. My job is to be a good guide, and find it. We then develop a plan specific to their needs utilizing a variety of gentle, cost-effective hands-on chiropractic techniques, massage therapy/muscle work, regenerative and physical therapies to achieve these goals.

This position offered is in our financial department, is a unique hybrid of back-office work, customer service, and direct consultations with patients. You will have a base salary, benefits, with opportunities for performance bonuses and advancement.

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Financial consultations with patients to help them afford the care they need and want
● Research patients' insurance benefits and communicate their potential reimbursement for services
● Utilize Atlas Chiropractic Software (training will be provided) for daily, weekly, and monthly reports tracking patient care utilization
● Confidence with basic mathematics and statistics
● Able to follow specific procedures when necessary, and uphold standards of privacy
● Process records requests with precision and timeliness
● Light billing and management of patient accounts
● Follow-up calls and emails with attorneys to track and facilitate case progress
● Explain the value of chiropractic to others, including walk-in patients and those new to the office
● Refer potential new patients into our office in a personal compassionate and professional way
● Competence in basic office and administrative duties
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree is a minimum educational requirement as well as two years prior office administrative or sales experience.
● Positive attitude with a great work ethic and attitude of leadership.
● Someone who enjoys challenges and will take initiative
● Must like to train and have a desire to always get better at what you do
● Well-spoken and excellent writing skills
● Bilingual (Spanish) is a BIG PLUS but not required.
Benefits:
● Negotiated hourly rate of $17-19/hour plus performance bonuses totaling $0-$20k additional income annually.

Schedule:
● Monday thru Friday 8am - 12pm. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2pm to 6pm
● Training for 4-12 weeks from start date (4 hours) until competent in basic procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
