Purpose of the Post
The Physiotherapist, Clinical Specialist will :
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to:
- provide evidence-based care to children, young people and their families attending the Weight Management Service for Children and Young Peoplein line with the national care guidelines and standards;
- build capacity across primary care for early identification and intervention for weight management and appropriate referral.
- Work with the HSE Obesity Clinical Programme to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a standardised, evidence-based model of service delivery.
Be a resource and provide expert opinion, advice and guidance to dietetic colleagues and other health care professionals within the child health service and primary care
