We are looking for an office based Civil Engineer to join our Civil Tendering team in Head Office, Kill.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineering professional to step into an office based role where they will be trained on all areas of Civil Tendering and mentored by an experienced team who have successfully delivered the tenders for some of the largest Civil projects in Ireland.

This position will facilitate future career development in the candidate's preferred role within BAM.

• Apply your experience & technical knowledge to a variety of tendering tasks.
• Gain experience and support with estimation practices, we will teach you how to estimate from first principles.
• Checking tender quantities from 2D and 3D files.
• Gain experience in pre-construction planning & methodologies
• Develop technical writing skills whilst supporting tender submissions
• Gain industry leading 3D modelling and BIM knowledge
• Disseminate information to a variety of stakeholder and facilitate communication
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel.
• Follow directions and attend meetings as required

• Honours Degree in Civil Engineering
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Engineer, preferably on site experience
• Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor, surveying firm or similar preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint etc.
