Key roles
To support, and work collaboratively with, members of the Structural Defects Department in the delivery of a high-calibre service, commensurate with minimum competency requirements to clients, to colleagues, and to third parties.
Specific responsibilities
Provision of a complete range of support including:

Maintenance of electronic and hard copy filing system

Administration of incoming correspondence
-
Scheduling deployment of loss adjusters and arranging their appointments
-
Taking initial and scripted FNOL calls
-
Issuing of claim forms to policyholders following the first notification of loss
-
Entering new claims onto WebElite
-
Examination and processing of initial claim documentation
-
Obtaining historical information and key documentation (including copies of certificates of insurance/policy documents) from the previous scheme administrators
-
Claim lifecycle administration, including diary reminders
-
Payment requests, including:
-
review of Loss Adjuster interim payment reports
-
uploading of payment requisitions
-
certificates and works invoices onto WebElite
-

Maintenance of departmental leave and absence records
-
Assisting the Account Manager/SDU team in the preparation of the meetings and audits and litigation preparation
-
Assisting the Structural Defects Director in litigation preparation
-
Other duties as specified by the Account Manage
Qualifications/skills
-
Minimum competency requirements accredited/new entrant progressing to accreditation or willingness to progress to accreditation
-
High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Sound numeric skills
-
High attention to detail
-
High level interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills
Experience
-
Employment background the financial services industry (desirable but not essential)
-
Experience working within a facilities function/department (desirable but not essential)
-
Proficiency in French language (highly desired)
Personal attributes

Sound knowledge of Sedgwick and its operation as a company (desirable but not essential)
