FedPoint, previously doing business as LTC Partners, was founded in 2002 and is a versatile administrator of large-scale insurance and benefits programs. We are hiring 2 Full-Time Claims Processors to join our team! This is an exciting role working in a 400-person company with big aspirations, and a wonderful culture. We are offering a hybrid schedule to balance working from home and in the office. In office days will be required 2 days per week at our Portsmouth, NH office.

The Claims Processor is responsible for processing and adjudicating submitted invoices ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity by processing claims accurately, the first time.

The Claims Processor reviews each submitted invoice to ensure it is accurate and complete, is a covered service, contains adequate proof of payment, and aligns with the established plan of care. Duties also include identifying potential fraud, researching facility bed hold issues, and conducting claims research.

We will provide all equipment and 8-12 weeks of training Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. After graduating the training, your work schedule will be eligible for flexibility changes (days/times).

Required:

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are critical for success in this role.
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and proven follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team or independently to complete tasks and solve problems.
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of time-sensitive deadlines and ability to complete all tasks within those deadlines.
  • Must possess a high degree of tact, diplomacy and professionalism when interacting with co-workers, providers, and claimants.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills.
  • Successful completion of new hire training and demonstrated proficiency.
  • Required to uphold the principles of compliance and fraud management as outlined by corporate and departmental policies.
  • Supports and participates in the mandatory training on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.
  • Ability to focus effort on goals, meeting or exceeding them, regardless of obstacles.
  • Willingness to assume responsibility and demonstrate initiative.

Preferred:

  • Experience processing claims in a healthcare, disability, dental, or long-term care environment OR insurance operations experience.
