Job Summary

The Claims Specialist will be responsible for tracking all claims and acting as the liaison between the location and the insurance company to handle claims to closure. This position will need to be available to support all Levy locations. This would include additional support outside regular business hours, including availability to answer questions during weekend and/or evening hours based on a needed basis.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Provides knowledgeable assistance in the reporting, managing and monitoring of team member, foodborne illness, liquor liability and guest claims
- Partners with location management and Third Party Claims Administrator to ensure that injured employees return to work on modified duty as soon as possible
- Provides location management with training on claims procedures
- Accurately maintains the Company’s claims reporting system with up-to-date claims information
- Produce and distribute monthly analytical reporting to executive level teams inclusive of workers’ compensation, general liability losses, OSHA incident rates and incentive goals to ensure accident trends and claims data are properly tracked and managed for all locations
- Maintains the Risk Management Claims Tracking System
- Provides knowledgeable assistance in the implementation of safety and sanitation standards
- Partners with location management on the implementation and monitoring of safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in claims, including Workers’ Compensation
- Experience in Food and Beverage Industry, primarily safety and sanitation
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledgeable in the development and implementation of safety and sanitation standards
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to completes all projects in a timely and professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, able to promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
