Ingredients for your success

As a CDL (A or B) Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a commercial box truck/tractor-trailer to deliver meats and provisions to restaurants, markets, and warehouses.

• Must comply with Food Safety Guidelines.
• Temperature reporting.
• Avoid roadside inspection violations (which affect PSP and SMS Scores)
• Deliver efficiently and safely.
• Report any unsafe delivery conditions and maintain a satisfactory unload rate, maintain a satisfactory smart drive score, and uphold 5S standards of truck organization and cleanliness.
• Provide Quality Customer Service.
• Process collections of money and credit returns.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to make deliveries in a safe and efficient manner, using a 2-wheeler (dolly) loaded with several hundred lbs.; deliveries are made in all weather conditions throughout the year (snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.), and may involve stairs on occasion.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Experience driving a commercial vehicle (box truck and/or tractor trailer); experience making deliveries using a 2-wheeler (dolly), and/or pallet Jack.
• LICENSE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
• CDL (A, B) with airbrakes; must have a DOT-certified medical card; must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Three years clean PSP score (no unsafe driving/hour of service violations).
• Three years clean DMV driving record.
