Full Time Cleaning Supervisor required for college Campus in Glasnevin - Early Morning (6am start).

Key Responsibilities

• To effectively plan, co-ordinate and follow-up on all areas of responsibility through the personnel available.
• To co-ordinate with client Management to ensure standards are maintained and site specification delivered
• To carry out regular performance reviews within their area of responsibility
• To ensure cleaning team has adequate resources to maintain standards on site as per site specification.
• To lead in ongoing training of all staff on site to carry out their duties. Train the trainer qualification desirable
• To carry out regular monthly performance reviews with staff within their area of responsibility
• Responsible for any personal issues as they arise
• To carry out regular operational reviews with Account Manager and team to ensure that potential problems are identified and dealt with in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• By regular meetings, reviews and inspection to ensure that operatives fully discharge their responsibility as contained within their Job Description and the Company quality procedures
• To support contract manager in administration tasks when required
• Set and maintain standards as per the site specification
• Ensure weekly Quality Control Reports are carried out by Site Supervisor and are acted upon immediately
• Carryout site inspections as determined by procedural flowcharts for the site and ensure prompt action is taken if necessary
• Ensure number of staff employed is in accordance with contract and provides sufficient coverage to minimize lost hours occurring.
• Implement remedial action to recover lost hours
• Control of levels of stock

Additional Duties

• Order products and supplies as required in accordance with approved list and budgets
• Carry out audits to ensure that all staff are aware of and follow COSHH regulations
• Carry out audits to ensure that only approved chemicals are in use, that chemicals are in their original containers, that appropriate PPE is being worn and and that color codes are being followed
• Ensure staff training has taken place that the right product is used for the task

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: €13.50-€14.00 per hour
