Job Description & Summary

A Client Account Executive (“CAE”) works as a team member on the Client Account Executive or CAE Hub. The CAE hub sits within the Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) assurance practice. As a member of the AWM CAE Hub you will focus on delivering an efficient, high quality and responsive support service to audit teams such to add value to our clients and provide for efficient use of audit staff time.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to work as part of a team, liaise with key stakeholders and to upskill. This role requires attention to detail and problem solving skills along with the ability to prioritise, organise and manage tasks and workload. You will have to be a good team player, demonstrate good technical skills and the ability and willingness to learn and to keep up to date with updates to processes and technology. The ideal candidate will work to deliver high quality outcomes and embrace and promote change in line with the CAE Hub’s vision.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the AWM CAE Hub service offering;

  • Actively contribute to client work such as supporting with preparation and submission of Anti-Money Laundering documentation and working in conjunction with the Anti-Money Laundering team;

  • Support with client related administrative activities such as audit documentation and billing / invoicing;

  • Develop an understanding of the various platforms and systems utilised by PwC audit teams;

  • Action or request updates as required on platforms used by audit teams;

  • Take responsibility for completion of weekly and monthly reporting required on some of the key audit platforms used;

  • Actively monitor the progress of ongoing work and provide timely status updates to audit teams;

  • Take ownership of enquires and issues raised by audit teams, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate;

  • Build strong working relationships with different teams within the firm to ensure an understanding of requirements, updates and compliance deadlines are met;

  • Actively drive own continual self development;

  • Show a curious mindset and willingness to learn about existing and new technologies to support audit teams to meet key deadlines required on the different platforms used internally;

  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility to support the delivery of AWM CAE Hub service offerings;

  • Proactively suggesting better / more efficient ways to deliver work.

Candidate profile

Project management:

  • Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines;

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage relationships at all levels within PwC;

  • Strong skills in task management, communication and time management;

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment;

  • Proven leadership, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Ability to work on multiple engagements concurrently, and operate effectively at all levels of the organisation;

Communications

  • Team player – ability to engage with team and to provide support/flexibility;

  • Possesses excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills;

  • Superior communication (English oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment;

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff;

  • Commitment to providing excellent client service;

  • Negotiate and influence effectively.

Technical skills

  • Strong IT skills with a willingness to learn about the specific platforms used

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office;

  • Experience with G Suite would be beneficial but not essential;

  • Third level qualification preferred;

  • Prior work experience ideally from an administrative/analytical background from within corporate/professional services environment;

  • Very strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high quality work.
