As part of the Corporate Trust Debt and Agency team you will have responsibility for a broad portfolio of transactions and will be required to engage directly with clients in addition to the various internal and external transaction parties who perform functions for each structure. Products in scope range across Conventional debt, Project Finance, Escrow, Repacks, Liability Management and Insurance Linked Notes.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portfolio of transactions, acting as the Relationship Manager and transaction administrator for the respective clients; facilitating the end to end process of a client’s debt issuance into the capital markets
  • Acting as the Accountable Client Owner for your portfolio of clients, responsible for day to day administration and periodic client reviews and attestations
  • Supporting business growth initiatives including the retention of existing business and working with Sales team in pursuit of new business and cross-selling opportunities
  • Reviewing draft documentation for new and existing transactions where Corporate Trust is appointed as Account Bank, Agent and/or Trustee
  • Negotiating terms of documentation from Deutsche Bank’s perspective with the transaction parties (corporates, sovereign or bank issuers, borrowers, banks, other parties and their lawyers etc)

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or in a Corporate Trust, cash management, custody or loan administration function
  • A good understanding of the global financial services industry and Debt capital markets
  • Some knowledge of the following: Payment processing, Issuing and Paying Agency, international or domestic clearing systems, capital markets documentation, Capital Markets Operations, Debt issuance processes, with experience of documentation review an advantage
  • Confident and experienced in client relationships, able to build a rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Foreign language skills including German, Spanish, Italian, French and Russian would be beneficial
