Great Opportunity for a current LTC RN ready to advance!

Due to rapid, continuing growth, our LTC located near North Versailles is currently seeking a Clinical Coordinator for our newly open position. We require a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Coordinator to assist in providing direction and accountability for the nursing department. Current RN licensure, demonstrated LTC management experience, leadership and planning skills, at least one year of experience in nursing administration required. As an integral part of our leadership team, the Clinical Coordinator will have many critical responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Observe nursing care hours and staff patterns, and change schedules as needed
• Responsible for completing weekly wound rounds, monitoring completion of routine wound documentation, and conducting wound education for staff
• ​Responsible for overseeing the facility's risk management program
• Guide, teach, and train RN Supervisors, LPNs, Nurse Aides, and Unit Clerks as well as evaluating their performances.
• Arrange and coordinate in-service educational programs for staff that are regulation approved.

•​ Participates in the RN supervisor weekend on call rotation ​

• Be able to fill in for the Director of Nursing during periods of absence.

The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate total nursing functions, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of geriatric residents and residents of various ages. To apply in strict confidence please submit your resume.
