The Clinical Diabetes Educator will provide diabetes education in individual and group settings in an outpatient clinic. The Clinical Diabetes Educator will work closely with the providers in the Endocrinology department as well as Primary Care to help provide 1:1 visits for patients with diabetes who may need education, diabetes device training, and/or nutrition counseling.

Qualified candidates will be required to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in health or education related discipline, licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California or Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or working toward obtaining this credential, and have at least 2 years’ experience providing Diabetes Education in a health care setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Pay: $76,900.00 - $119,900.00 per year
