Position Summary:
Assumes responsibility to assist team in providing quality patient care in the Non-invasive Cardiology Department. Reassess, plans, implements and evaluates patient care from admission to discharge. Is responsible to assist with directing, assigning, and supervising ancillary staff team members in providing the appropriate level of care in the most efficient manner. Acts as a role model to staff members. Is able to effectively manage team work concept. Remains flexible in response to changes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology required. Previous experience in a health & disease management and/or adult fitness program. BLS & ACLS required. ACSM Exercise Specialist recommended.
