Position Summary
The Clinical Practice Coordinator for North Natchitoches Medical Clinic is the person who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the medical office. This person must ensure that the medical office is running smoothly and proficiently, paying attention to efficiency and reduction of operating costs without losing quality patient care. Responsibilities include supervision of clerical staff. Additionally the Clinical Practice Coordinator develops and implements processes and procedures for the operation of the practice, while maintaining the policies, procedures, rules, regulations and core values of NRMC.
Primary Responsibilities

1. The Clinical Practice Coordinator responsibilities include the supervision of all staff.
2. Ensures superior customer service.
3. Demonstrates knowledge in all aspects of medical office operations, including billing, coding, and collections, appointment scheduling and medical records maintenance.
4. Will address any issues with patients that should come up regarding services, billing, etc. while keeping to the core values of NRMC.
5. Makes and adjusts schedule for staff as needed.
6. Applies payments to account billed in-house.
7. Orders office supplies.
8. Attends staff meetings as required.
9. Participates in emergency and disaster situations.
10. Performs miscellaneous duties as deemed appropriate and when assigned.

Requirements:Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Two years clerical experience.
3. Associate degree required.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Hospital or medical environment experience preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3. Nursing degree preferred.
