REQUIREMENTS:
  • Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services plus one (1) year paid experience relevant to the treatment of the mentally ill OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Services plus three (3) years paid related experience.
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to drive an organization vehicle
  • Act 33/34/73 clearances
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen


SCHEDULE: (This is a non-exempt, hourly position)
Flexible Part time: 5 shifts a month required (Daylight/evening/weekend/overnight – shifts avaiable)
ABOUT THE ROLE: Located on the South Side of Pittsburgh , the Residential Treatment Facility for Adults is a licensed, 16-bed temporary treatment program for adults. The Clinical Relief Pool Clinician will provide immediate safety and supportive counseling in a recovery environment for consumers in the program. The Clinical Relief Pool Clinician will also provide the following services: milieu therapy, psycho-educational groups, crisis intervention, clinical assessment, case management, transition/discharge planning, and follow-up. The Clinical Relief Pool Clinician will be an active part of the treatment team and will maintain clinical records including the development of the recovery/transition plan and daily documentation according to established MBH policy and procedure and regulatory/accreditation requirements.

ABOUT YOU: We are looking for people who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and team work. In any given day you will facilitate/document therapeutic groups, provide limited transportation of residents to community settings, and monitor the milieu. Candidates should have good computer skills along with excellent verbal and written communication. This is a team-based position.
