Post Specific Related Information:
Essential Criteria: BSc in clinical or life science related subject or equivalent third level qualification Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in clinical research Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and of relevant national and international clinical trial regulations Experience in the preparation of submissions to research ethics committees Knowledge of electronic data capture systems and the data management process in clinical studies Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in a Clinical Research Associate or Coordinator role and working in a clinical environment Previous experience of biosample processing Monitoring and audit experience Prior experience in paediatric research Having a ‘can-do’ attitude, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for the role. Ability to lead and communicate effectively and in a professional manner Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills An individual with initiative and good judgement, capable of problem solving and working independently Team player with the aptitude to mentor colleagues and promote a positive learning environment Excellent attention to detail Readiness to work to deadlines and flexibility with regard to working hours and remote vs. onsite working Readiness and ability to learn new skills as required by the position
