Interventional Imaging Services

A position has become available for a part-time, permanent Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Radiology team. We are committed to delivering the highest quality, patient-focused diagnostic services. The Radiology Department currently incorporates General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services.

Purpose of Post:

• To lead and manage all radiographic aspects of the Radiology Department’s Interventional suite - including operational, technical, and administrative requirements - in order to provide consistent, high-quality, safe, and patient focused services.

This post reports directly to the Radiographic Services Manager(s)

Applicants must:



• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU (https://www.coru.ie/).
• Have a minimum of 6 years full time (or an aggregate of 6 years) post qualification clinical experience. Previous experience in working & leading imaging services in an Interventional setting is required.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership, and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
• Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual Registration

On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register as maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU
