This is a developer / architect role reporting to the Executive Director of iNtuition, an e-commerce software development subsidiary of Ferrilli. In this role you'll contribute to the development of a new SaaS multi-tenant e-commerce platform, assist other team members on integrations with a variety of ERP systems, operating primarily in the backend, and contributing across the stack as your skills and interests dictate. You will also work with functional experts of specific ERP systems to have a real time understanding of business processes and develop solutions which fit into customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development including but not limited to building highly scalable, performant software and service platforms.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in defining and implementing Microsoft Azure based solutions. (Preferred)
• Solid solution architecture and light development skills – able to deliver deep technical content and at the same time bridge technical knowledge with business discussions.
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Azure).
• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Forms, Azure SQL, Virtual Machines.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager. (Preferred)
• Experience building adoption of GraphQL as a new technology for mission-critical applications. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of principles of microservices architecture design. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON).
• Strong understanding of C# / HTML5 / JS / .NET.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.

Responsibilities

• Design Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs.
• Design, implement and support highly scalable mid to large scale enterprise applications and web services in Microsoft Azure.
• Analyze systems and identify problems in Microsoft Azure.
• Create functional design specifications, Microsoft Azure reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
• Learn, learn, and learn by staying up to date on all technical developments related to Azure and other public cloud platforms.
• Participate with contract discussions that involve technical decisions.
• Monitor progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks timely.
• Provide on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality assurance and issue resolution.
• Proactively be involved in and lead the technical discussions as advisory role.
• Work effectively with a minimal amount of supervision / direction.
• Assist with management of offshore developers.
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick response.
• Willing to travel as required.
