Responsibilities:
Designs, builds and implements moderately complex cloud offerings specifically within the private cloud platform Understands Dell Technologies and VMWare Cloud Solutions to help accelerate digital transformation Manages moderately complex continuous build, test integration and deployment of platforms and pipelines Deploys low to moderate complexity infrastructure (inter-linking systems) Configures, manages and troubleshoots low to moderate complexity systems of scale (Cloud, virtualization, distributed networks, colocation, etc.) Maintains and updates critical tools and infrastructure with strong focus on Cloud-based services and technology Develops basic tools, scripts and frameworks that drive efficiency in automation, monitoring and management of large scale environments Responds to and troubleshoots moderately complex operations issues Leads project teams and medium to larger scale efforts Maintains current on industry trends and contributes to the execution of the private cloud roadmap and strategy

Qualification:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
3+ Years in Cloud platform technologies
Experience working in Agile/Scrum
Experience with VMware vSphere product suite Experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (VxRail is strongly desired)

Experience with containers VMWare Cloud Foundation certification, AWS Associate, or equivalent cloud platform certification

Desired:
Strong IT infrastructure technical skills including VMWare SDDC Technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, VMWare Cloud Foundation Solutions, etc) VMWare technology certifications Experience with tooling to support monitoring, telemetry, logging, and reporting/ dashboarding and continuous delivery technologies Experience with VMware NSX-V and NSX-T Experience with VMWare Cloud Foundation, VTSP, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSAN Experience with SAN Storage and data protection solutions (RP4VM, Avamar, PowerProtect) Experience with RedHat Linux Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform Knowledge of Systems administration in OS platforms (Linux/Unix, Windows); understanding of networking fundamentalssuch as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $117,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
