Apple Rehab Rocky Hill is a 100-bed skilled nursing center located right off the Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill CT. Our facility features private and semi-private rooms that are spacious enough for our residents to fit their favorite chair. Our staff enjoy a camraderie that has been built over years of teamwork. Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant

Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. The C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications – CNA Certified Nurse’s Assistant:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all certification requirements.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Fosters teamwork through cooperation in assisting others.
• Skillful in showing patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the residents and their support networks.
