Job description
This Certified Nursing Assistant Role is Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, working 7.5 hour shifts in our Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Greenville.
- Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
- Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
- Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
- Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
- Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
- Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant - UPON HIRE. except WITHIN 90 DAYS RNCs (Fuller, Kalamazoo, Reed City, United/Kelsey)
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan United/Kelsey/Reed City CNAs who transport patients off-site, Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association United/Kelsey, 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross United/Kelsey, 90 Days required
