Moog Aircraft Group in Torrance, California is looking for a Lathe Machinist on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30p) with experience working on Index, G220, R300, Mazak Integrex, Okuma Multus, 7 and 9 axis experience a plus! This position is located at our aerospace plant in Torrance, CA.

Moog is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and systems integrator of high performance precision motion and fluid controls systems for a broad range of applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Basic Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED or formal training equivalency

· 5 years or more of machining experience

· Must be able to use various measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Dial Bore Gauges.

· Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and lead others to do the same.

· This position require access to export controlled information.

Preferred qualifications:

· Index

· G220, R300

· Mazak Integrex

· Okuma Multus

· 7 and 9 axis experience

· Voumard, Okuma GA-26, Center Lap

· CNC 3 abd 4 axis milling

· CNC multi turret and spindle turning center

· Okuma 3 and 4 axis CNC mills, Okuma CNC lathes and turning centers

· Gleason gear shapers and hobs
