Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of CNC lathe experience

Skills:

Language Skills – The ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical and procedure manuals and government regulations. Ability to write routine reports, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and business correspondences. Able to communicate well with other employees.

Mathematical Skills – Ability to read blueprints and gauges. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Must pass a mechanical aptitude test.

Reasoning Ability – Must exhibit common sense ability to carry out functions in written, oral, or diagram form and ability to deal with problems involving abstract and concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
