Our company is looking to hire a CNC Programmer with 5+ years of experience operating and supporting CNC machinery. Our ideal candidate is proficient in creating and modifying tool paths, and has advanced knowledge of grinding and milling techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Understand basic machine tooling, i.e., tapping and threading.
• Be familiar with the various functions of the computer numerical control system.
• Be able to program a CNC milling machine for various operations, such as drilling, boring and threading.
• Be able to program a CNC lathe for various operations, such as taper turning and facing.
• Be able to lay out parts on various types of machine tools for machining.
• Be able to interpret blueprints for machining operations.
• Be able to use various cutting tools on a CNC milling machine, such as drills, end mills and ball nose cutters.
• Be familiar with measuring instruments used in the machining industry, such as calipers, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Know how to operate a surface grinder.
• Know how to operate a CNC lathe, or be familiar with turning terminology used by machinists.
• Have good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
